October 2017, we had a new client from The Responding To Autism Center. The young man was very quiet and wanted to work in the back room and interact with others as little as possible. Gradually, he started coming out to show us cool and interesting things that he found. Then he started showing amazing talents of problem solving and putting things together. He is the only one that could fix the tagging guns. After his initial two-week training, he came back to volunteer. Soon we hired him on a part-time basis so that he could run the store when the manager was out of the store. This means he's interacting with people, running the register and whatever needed to be done. He is amazing and has made great strides. This is our success story. His name is Josh.
